A third-year MBBS student at BJ Medical College on the Civil Hospital campus in Asarwa committed suicide by hanging himself in his hostel room. four days before his university exams were to begin. Academic stress is believed to be the reason behind the suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Dhruv Ghadia, (21) He lived in the boys’ hostel on the campus, had earlier attempted suicide twice by hanging and ingesting sedatives.
