An Ahmedabad-based company has been entrusted with the brasswork for the flag poles of Ram Mandir Ayodhya. Shri Ambika Engineering Works Company is overseeing the construction of seven flag pillars, with a total weight of about 5,500 kg, including the main flag pole.
The combined weight of the seven flag poles, including the main flag pole, is about 5,500 kg. The Managing Director of the company, Bharat Mewara, informed the media, ‘We have been assigned the task of constructing the flag pillars for the Ram temple in Ayodhya, and the work is progressing rapidly. There are seven flag poles, with a total weight of 5,500 kg, including the main flag pole.’
The flag pole is entirely made of brass. The pole is 44 feet long, with a diameter of 9 inches and a wall thickness of 1 inch. The longest pole made was 25 feet. The heaviest pole we made weighed 450 kg, in comparison to these poles, which weigh 5500 kg. Apart from these poles, the hardware for the temple’s doors (hinges and locking system) has also been sent to Ayodhya.
