This visit marks a significant event in the state’s political calendar, with Prime Minister Modi scheduled to launch and lay the foundation stones for multiple development projects worth Rs 5,950 crore during his two-day stay.
The Prime Minister’s visit began with a reception at the Ahmedabad Airport, where he was greeted by Gujarat’s top officials, including Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. PM Modi to launch Rs 5,950 crore development projects
On the first day of his two-day visit to Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several development projects collectively valued at Rs 5,950 crore. The event is scheduled to take place in Gujarat’s Mehsana district. PM Modi will commence his visit by paying his respects at the Ambaji temple located in the Banaskantha district. Following this, he will proceed to the village of Dabhoda in the Kheralu taluka of Mehsana for a public function. During this event, the Prime Minister will launch multiple projects and address a gathering of attendees.
These projects span various government departments, including the Indian Railways, Gujarat Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (GRIDE), state water resource and water supply departments, roads and buildings, and urban development departments, according to an official government release.
