A mobile “diesel pump” selling Solvent mixed “diesel” for Rs. 68 per liter against the market price of pure diesel which is 92.11 per liter was caught by Police. Drivers who would drive company-owned vehicles were filling such Rs. 68/liter fuel in vehicles and putting full value bills of Rs. 92/liter at the company.
The State Monitoring Cell of the Gujarat police apprehended three individuals for selling adulterated diesel at a price of Rs 68 per liter. Police also seized a total of 3,224 liters of adulterated diesel from a “portable petrol pump” located in Moraiya village, Sanand taluka.
law enforcement received a tip-off indicating that some individuals were engaged in the sale of adulterated diesel in Moraiya village along the Rajkot-Ahmedabad highway. the police encountered a white tanker from which an individual was dispensing diesel. Three people were apprehended at the site.
They informed the police that they were employed by Rao Tourist Services Private Limited in South Bopal, and their manager, Paramjit Singh, had instructed them to provide adulterated diesel at reduced prices.
The company is owned by an individual named Vikas Rao from Delhi. the accused used to supply inexpensive diesel to staff buses serving various automobile industries in Sanand GIDC.
