Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated ‘Semicon India Exhibition’ in the State capital Gandhinagar.
The Semicon India Conference will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 28th July. The earlier version of Semicon happened at Bengaluru.
Speaking on this occasion, union Electronics minister Rajeev Chandrasekharan shared his observation that in last five six years enrolment in electronics engineering was dropping, but for the first time, enrolment in electronics is on the rise this year.
Chadrasekharan called Gujarat as the epicenter of semiconductor domain in the country.
The exhibition inaugurated today at Mahatma Mandir shall remain open to the public from July 25 to 30th.
