The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in several areas of Gujarat from July 7th to July 10th, with some places likely to experience extremely heavy rainfall on July 8th.
“For the next 3 days, i.e., July 7, 8, and 9, most places in Gujarat are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall. There is also a chance of extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places in the state. The entire state will experience rainfall for the next three days. Rainfall is expected to decrease in the Saurashtra-Kutch region after July 10th. A red warning has been issued for July 8th to Junagadh, Gir Somnath, and Diu, as heavy to very heavy rains are expected at a few places, with isolated extremely heavy falls,” said Ahmedabad, IMD director Manorama Mohanty
