Vande Bharat Express, which connects Mumbai and the famous tourist destination of Goa, has received a huge response from the passengers.
The express was full as soon as the Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat was launched. Meanwhile, after this now the Railways has decided to make an important change in Vande Bharat.
Distance from Mumbai to Goa is 586 km and it takes 8 hours to travel by Vande Bharat. But in the rainy season this time increases by two hours. So it takes 10 hours to reach Goa from Mumbai.
However, while crossing the distance of 10 hours from Mumbai to Goa, passengers have to sit and travel continuously. Due to this, passengers do not get a chance to rest properly. Due to this, Railways is now planning to add sleeper coaches in Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat so that the passengers will be able to enjoy the nature and can also relax.
Soon Vande Bharat will change the seat category and add sleeper coaches. The railway board is planning in this regard. According to Central Railway, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has announced the addition of sleeper coaches to Vande Bharat Express.
The Railway Board has now instructed the ICF to manufacture Vande Bharat, a sleeper coach. The new Vande Bharat Express is likely to enter service by the end of December. Railways is planning to connect these coaches in a phased manner. Also, after this, the distance of Vande Bharat Express connecting the two cities will be more than 550 km.
