A part of a building collapsed in Maninagar due to heavy rains. The rescue team reached the spot after part of slum quarter collapsed. There are a total of eight blocks in Uttam Nagar Quarters and a total of 1500 people live in 256 houses.
Both the buildings were damaged when a portion of the fourth floor balcony fell on the third floor balcony around seven in the morning. A total of 30 people including six children were rescued by the AMC Rescue team. fortunately there is no news of any casualty yet.
