The District Education Officer (DEO) of Kutch district has made an announcement that all government, aided, unaided primary, secondary, higher secondary schools and colleges will not conduct academic activities during June 13-15 in view of the biporjoy cyclone.
According to the IMD, Cyclone Byporjoy is likely to hit the Kutch coast near Jakhau by noon on June 15. The DEO, in its order, has said that schools should not call students and remove all dangerous structures, hoardings and tree branches before the cyclone.
In the circular, compulsory presence of principals and employees has been ordered at the headquarters.
