According to numerous media reports, renowned cardiologist Gaurav Gandhi of Jamnagar, Gujarat, passed away early on Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack. In the course of his medical career, Dr. Gandhi, who was 41 years old, is said to have performed operations on more than 16,000 patients.
In accordance with reports in the media, Dr. Gandhi saw patients on Monday as usual before going home that evening to his house on the city’s Palace Road. He had dinner and went to bed without grumbling or acting differently. When his family members went to wake him up the following morning at 6:00 am, they discovered him unconscious and hurried him to the hospital.
Dr Gandhi was declared dead at the hospital.
Reports indicate Dr Gandhi completed his basic medical degree from Jamnagar and a specialisation in cardiology from Ahmedabad, after which he returned to his hometown to practice. He was reportedly associated with the ‘Halt Heart Attacks’ campaign on Facebook.
