Josh Little, a pacer from Ireland will miss Gujarat Titans’ upcoming matches because he has returned home for national duty.
Ireland’s squad for the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh, which begins on May 9, includes the left-arm pacer.
After Gujarat’s dominating nine-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals on Friday, he took a flight back home.
“We wish Josh the best as he heads back to represent Ireland in the ODIs. He has had a good run in his first Tata Indian Premier League and we look forward to welcoming him back once he finishes the ODI series,” Vikram Solanki, director of cricket at Gujarat Titans, said in a media release.
Nevertheless, Little will return to India to join the Gujarat Titans team following the third ODI against Bangladesh on May 14.
On Sunday, the defending champions will play the Lucknow Super Giants. Then on May 12 and 15, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad will play.
