Surprisingly, Ahmedabad, which is renowned for its elite educational institutions, has announced underwhelming results from the Class 12 Science exams administered by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB). Only 9,358 (67.13%) of the 13,939 students who showed up for the exams were successful. Both the 8,287 Ahmedabad City students and the 5,652 Ahmedabad Rural students who appear for the exam are included in these numbers.
Five Ahmedabad students received the top A1 grade, according to the GSHSEB results, which were released on Tuesday. Only 170 students received the second-best A2 grade. 4,581 students failed the exam as a result, 2,877 of whom were from Ahmedabad City and 1,704 from Ahmedabad Rural.
