This Saturday, April 29, Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Rajkot will remain open in an effort by the MEA to fill appointments in a Passport Mela. According to a statement released on Wednesday, citizens can apply for both normal and Tatkaal categories of appointments.
On Thursday, the appointment window will open, and it will stay open until all available times have been filled. The cancellation of appointments due to the April 14 holiday, according to officials, can be made up by reapplying for an appointment on (passportindia.gov.in) for April 29.
According to the statement, Tatkaal applications are only accepted from people who are in urgent need of a passport. Those who are found to be ineligible for the same appointment must reapply at a later time.
