Aarti Harishchandra Mittal, who has been in series like Apnapan, has reportedly been charged with running a prostitution racket after Mumbai police caught her in the act. Police officers allegedly approached her while pretending to be customers, and after gathering evidence by recording the occurrences, they filed a complaint against her. Aarti Mittal is accused of convincing two additional models to participate in the fraud by promising them money. The models were caught and transported to a rehab facility.
According to sources, the investigation was carried out by the Social Services Branch. After learning about the prostitution racket, Inspector Manoj Sutar decided to pose as a customer in front of Aarti Mittal. He approached the 27-year-old actress casting director in an attempt to find “two girls for his friends.” Mittal, who lives in Mumbai’s Oshiwara, reacted to his message by inviting them to meet him at hotels in Goregaon and Juhu. In addition to asking Sutar to arrange lodgings, the actress requested a hefty Rs. 60,000.
The article also stated that Mittal was caught red-handed in the act. According to these sources, Aarti Mittal handed the ‘clients’ a couple of condoms before requesting them to enter the rooms, and the police videotaped the entire incident as evidence in the case. After further investigation into the models who were requested to come to the hotel, the reports allege that Mittal offered the models Rs. 15,000 apiece for their job.
As of today, a case has been filed against Aarti Mittal under Section 370 of the Indian Penal Code and other pertinent provisions of trafficking and prostitution.
