A six-kilometer elevated corridor connecting Ujala Circle and Vishala Junction in Sarkhej will soon be available in Ahmedabad. A 4.5 km long elevated corridor connecting Karnavati Club and Sanand Chowk had previously been announced. The Ujala Circle-Vishala corridor will improve access to the city from South Gujarat and Saurashtra, as well as traffic flow, particularly during rush hours.
Ujala-Vishala corridor will have two opening. where one road will lead to Vasana and the other will lead to Narol. In order to reduce traffic, three additional six-lane flyovers will be built on Vishala-Narol.
Ujala Flyover will connect to this corridor. Highway traffic from Saurashtra will be redirected by the elevated corridor to the Vasana and SG highways. Highway traffic won’t have an impact on city traffic.
