Shah was in the state to attend an event commemorating the BJP’s 44th anniversary.
The statue covers an area of 1,35,000 square feet in the backyard of the Sarangpur temple. The temple honours Lord Kastbhanjan, a form of Hanuman.
The massive statue weighs approximately 30,000 kilogrammes and can be seen from a distance of seven kilometres. The statue was built with five different metals and has a total diameter of 754 feet. Steel is used to construct the internal structure.
According to reports, 3D printers, 3D routers, and CNC machines were used in its construction. The statue has been made to withstand earthquakes.
