Google services down in India: Users facing issues with YouTube, Gmail, Drive, and other services

The Google outage has received over 1,500 reports in India, according to Downdetector, an online tool for reporting tech outages.

Google’s services were down on Thursday morning, affecting YouTube, Drive, Gmail, and the search engine.

The Google outage has received over 1.500 reports in India, according to Downdetector, an online tool for reporting tech outages.

Users took to Twitter to express their dismay about the outage, resorting to memes as is customary.

Apps and websites from Google’s family, including YouTube, Drive, Gmail, Duo, Meet, Hangouts, Docs, and Sheets, were also reported to be unavailable.

At the time of writing, Gmail had over 2,000 reports, according to Downdetector. Users on Twitter shared screenshots of a 502 error on their Gmail sign in page.

A 502 error usually means the server is unresponsive.
