The Gujrat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will conduct Class 10th and 12th final exams in the state from March 14 to 31. 1.07 students at various locations in Ahmedabad will be appearing for the exams. . Each of these facilities will have 3,692 classrooms.
Gujrat Board has increased the number of centres for class 12th general stream and science stream, in particular, this year, according to the report. Last year, a total of 97,000 students took the 10th and 12th-grade board exams. In terms of class 10, the board has reduced one centre from the previous year. There were 205 class 10th exam centres in 2022; this year, there will be 204.
Last year, 30,000 students took the annual class 12 general stream exams. There were 104 examination centres. However, due to the increased number of students taking exams this year, 124 examination centres have been designated to conduct the exams. Similarly, the number of class 12 science centres has increased. Last year’s exams were held at 39 locations, but due to increased registration, the Board has increased the number of locations to 45 this year.
The GSEB SSC or class 10 exams will be held from March 14 to March 28. The GSEB will administer exams for the HSC or class 12 general and vocational streams from March 14 to 29. The Gujarat board will most likely release admit cards for final exams in the first week of March.
The class 12 practical exam is currently underway. It started on February 20 and will end on February 28. The examination is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. To pass the exam, students must score at least 33% or higher in each subject as well as overall. The board had previously rescheduled the second term examination dates for the class 12 science stream due to clashes with the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023.
