According to an Adani Group release, 37,696 passengers departed from Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on Sunday, the airport’s highest number of passengers in a single day.
According to a press release, 31688 domestic passengers and 6,008 international passengers boarded 267 flights on Sunday.
As per the press release “Non-schedule flight, movement has significantly increased over a year because of the dedicated general aviation terminal. “The top three international destinations for Ahmedabad were Dubai, Kuwait, and Abu Dhabi,”.
The top three domestic destinations, according to the report, are still Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. SVPIA currently serves 33 domestic and 15 international destinations, with plans to expand its domestic and international connectivity footprint.
