The Hanspura Society in Surat, Gujarat, has received another report of a dog bite. A girl who was playing in front of her house when she was bitten by a stray dog sustained severe injuries and required surgery. The incident was captured on CCTV, and images of it are going viral on social media.
The girl can be seen having fun at the residential building’s main gate in the CCTV footage taken there. When the girl sees a stray dog running down the street, she runs in its direction. Before the girl could withdraw, the dog retaliated aggressively and pounced on her, beginning to bite her in the face.
While her mother rushes to separate the dog from her daughter, it takes several seconds for the girl to be saved.

The incident happened at Swan Society in the Varachha Zone neighbourhood of Phulpada. When the girl’s mother stepped in at the appropriate time, she managed to prevent a much worse injury.
