The Gujarat U-11 team finished second to Andhra Pradesh in the recently concluded Sub Junior Minifootball National Championship at Nashik. Gujarat U-13 team defeated Haryana to win the 2nd runners-up trophy, while Gujarat U-15 team won the runners-up trophy after defeating Maharashtra. Himnesh from Gujarat’s U-11 team was the tournament’s top goal scorer, and Rudra from the U-15 category was named the tournament’s best player.
