A man and his associate fatally stabbed the owner of an embroidery firm, his father, and his uncle on Sunday because the man was upset that his former employer had fired him. CCTV cameras captured the murder.
The murder took place at the victim’s company, Vedant Texo, which is situated in the Surat neighbourhood of Amroli’s Anjani industrial area. A Special Investigation Team has been formed to look into the case after the police detained the two suspects.
The deceased have been identified as Ghanshyam Rajodiya, 48, Kalpesh Dholakia, 36, and Dhanji Dholakiya, 61.
The man, who is accused of stabbing the company’s owner Kalpesh Dholakia, was fired from his job after being discovered dozing off during the night shift. The triple murder came about after an argument between the two men.
The accused was seen on CCTV footage entering factory with sharp weapons in hand and repeatedly stabbing the owner and others.
A forensic team is assisting in the collection of evidence, and the Surat Police hopes to submit a charge sheet within a week.
