Police are looking for a couple who left a two-month-old girl baby on the cable bridge connecting Adajan and Parle Point in Surat on Tuesday morning, based on CCTV footage.
The baby was admitted to the new Civil Hospital after a passerby informed the police. The baby is healthy and being watched over at the NICU by Mamta Makwana from the SHE team.
According to DCP Harshad Mehta, It is possible that the infant was on the bridge all night. All routes from the bridge’s CCTV footage are being examined. Meanwhile, abandoned child has been adopted by Mahesh Savani of the Savani Group who also works in social services.
