Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) will hold CLAT-2023 for students in Gujarat for the Consortium of National Law Universities on December 18. According to GNLU officials, 1,113 students from the state will take the exam at four different locations across the state: Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, and Rajkot.
According to officials, Rajkot has been designated as a CLAT centre for the first time. Last year 1224 students from the state appeared for CLAT.
This year, estimated 55000 candidates across India have registered, up from 61000 last year. CLAT serves as a gateway to courses at NLUs and major law schools. CLAT offers 5-year integrated LLB and one-year LLM programmes at 22 National Law Universities. There are approximately 1,600 seats available in 22 NLUs for LLB programmes.
