Razorpay, a fintech platform, is collaborating with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to enable credit card holders to pay for goods and services using the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). The National Payments Corporation of India, which is in charge of all payment-related decisions, is constantly making decisions to expand the use of UPI across the country. Until now, NPCI had acknowledged the use of a credit card to improve UPI payment. UPI and Rupay have collaborated on this. As a result, the Razorpay payment gateway now allows its merchants to accept UPI payments through Rupay credit cards.
Axis Bank is a Razorpay partner, according to Razorpay. This decision was made with the traders’ needs in mind. Merchants accepting Razorpay and UPI now accept the RuPay Credit Card. You will be able to pay Razorpay merchants with your Rupay credit card through the first banks, which are HDFC Bank, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank, and Indian Bank.
The main advantage of attaching your UPI credit card is that you won’t have to carry it with you everywhere you go. Credit card payments are simple and convenient with UPI. When you make this payment, you must use a credit card rather than a debit card. If you want to connect both, follow these simple steps:
1. You need to first launch the UPI app.
2. You then need to select the ‘Add Card’ option.
3. The information for your credit card then needs to be filled out completely.
4. OTP needs to be filled which will be sent to the registered mobile number.
5. You must then validate your card.
6. You will then see the credit option in Payment UPI.
