The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for the upcoming home series against Sri Lanka, Australia, and New Zealand on Thursday (December 8). All of the series will take place in 2023, with an emphasis on WTC qualification and the ODI World Cup in India. Team India will have a busy schedule leading up to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season, which will be followed by the World Tennis Championship (WTC) final, which India could participate in if they qualify.

The action will then shift to a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against New Zealand, with Hyderabad, Raipur, and Indore serving as hosts. The second ODI on January 21st will be a landmark ODI for Raipur, which will host its first international match. In addition, Team India will play a three-match T20I series against New Zealand.

India’s Schedule for Australia Series (Test)
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy will begin on February 9th in Nagpur. The next three Tests will be played in Delhi, Dharamsala, and Ahmedabad by Team India. This will also be the final edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a four-match Test series.
The home series will be followed by a three-match ODI series in Mumbai, Vizag, and Chennai.
India’s Schedule for Australia Series (ODI)
The Indian team’s tight schedule may have an impact because they will face big teams in all three formats before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season begins. If India makes it to the World Cup final, which is unlikely, players like KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma may have an impact on their performances.
