After a two-day break, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again return to the Gujarat election campaign trail, this time with a three-hour-long mega roadshow spanning 16 assembly constituencies for the second phase of State Assembly elections.
According to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), this mega show will span more than 50 kilometres, beginning in Naroda Gam and ending in Gandhinagar South constituency.
The Prime Minister’s roadshow is expected to begin at 3:30 p.m. and last until 6:30 p.m. this evening, with PM Modi stopping at at least 35 memorials along the way, including those of Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
The Prime Minister’s road show is expected to pass through 16 assembly constituencies that will vote in the second phase of the Gujarat election on December 5.
Some of the constituencies that the Prime Minister will visit include Thakkarbapanagar, Bapunagar, Nikol, Amraiwadi, Maninagar, Danilimbda, Jamalpur Khadia, Elisbridge, Vejalpur, Ghatlodia, Naranpur, and Sabarmati.
Bhupendra Patel, the BJP’s chief ministerial candidate, is running from the Ghatlodia seat.
Surprisingly, while the Prime Minister canvasses for the second phase of the Gujarat election, the first phase of the Gujarat election is underway.
