Two children were killed in a tragic accident reported from Surat city on Friday morning when a truck collided with their mother’s two-wheeler. The woman was on her way to school with her two children. Happy and Samarth, both the children, died on the spot.
Omkar Chuadhary, a doctor at Surat Government Hospital, told the media that three people were brought in, including two children in their school uniforms, both of whom died. According to the doctor, their mother was in critical condition.
The truck driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene of the accident.
On Friday morning, a college student was crushed beneath the back wheels of a State transport bus in Mehsana. According to an eyewitness, the driver started the bus while the student was attempting to board it, causing the student to fall to the ground and be crushed under the wheels.
On Thursday, a car struck a middle-aged man who was walking along the roadside in Bhavnagar’s hill park area. The driver had lost control of the vehicle and mowed down the pedestrian. The driver of the car fled the scene of the accident.
