Prior to the state’s upcoming assembly elections, which are planned for the end of the month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is prepared to run the election campaign in Gujarat.
As it attempts to restore control in the home state of the Prime Minister, the BJP is once more counting on its “most popular face” to lead the effort.
PM Modi is slated to hold over 25 rallies in the state before the election. On Saturday, November 19, in the evening, he will launch his three-day campaign from Valsad.
BJP relies on PM Modi
PM Modi would visit the Somnath Temple on the second day of his campaigning before speaking at four rallies in the Saurashtra region.
The four rallies will take place at Veraval, Dhorarji, Amreli, and Botad, among other places.
The BJP, which did not succeed in capturing a single seat in these areas during the most recent assembly elections, is reportedly aiming to gain political mileage through the PM’s rallies.
Even though the party won the 2017 assembly elections, it was unable to penetrate this Congress stronghold.
On Day 3, November 21, PM Modi will hold a total of three rallies in Surendranagar, Bharuch, and Navsari.
Former Congress leader Ahmed Patel represented the Bharuch assembly district, but Navsari-born BJP state president CR Patil has been winning his Lok Sabha seat with one of the biggest margins in the country.
BJP stars running for office in Gujarat
Amit Shah, the union home minister and a Gujarat native, and JP Nadda, the president of the BJP at the national level, are also anticipated to speak at more than 15 rallies in the state, which is headed toward elections.
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, are in high demand to campaign in the state.
The BJP has despatched MPs and MLAs to every assembly district in the state in addition to its 40-star campaigners.
With a massive victory, the BJP hopes to take back control.
In the 182 total seats up for election in Gujarat in 2017, the BJP was only able to win 99 of them.
With Narendra Modi acting as the state’s chief minister for the longest period of time, the party has been in power for the previous 27 years.
This time, the party under the leadership of PM Modi, Amit Shah, and CR Paatil hopes to win more than 140 seats and create history.
The 182-member Gujarat Assembly will be chosen in two phases on December 1 and 5.
This fact should be highlighted. On December 8, it will be decided how to count the votes.
