On Sunday, bad weather and rotation delays caused up to seven flights to be delayed at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPI). Five Go First flights and two SpiceJet flights to Mumbai, Patna, Bangalore, Goa, Jaipur, and Varanasi were delayed.
According to sources, the flight delays from Ahmedabad have continued even after Diwali, and many passengers who have been stranded at the airport for hours have demanded a refund. Due to aircraft shortages and rotation delays, the Spice Jet delays occurred. The delays were also caused by bad weather in Mumbai, with some lasting up to five hours.
