The police also forced the accused to do squats while holding their ears in apology mode for breaking the law and causing chaos in the city.

With the hashtag #AhmedabadPolice, the Ahmedabad Police have since shared a video of the incident on their verified official Twitter account, and internet users are gushing over their thinking.

The video begins with some men setting off fireworks while driving slowly at night in a car. Some people are sitting on the bonnet, while others are on the roof.

The video shows them performing squats while holding their ears the next day on the streets because their actions endanger everyone’s safety. In addition, near the end, the Ahmedabad Police released their names and photos.

The video has received more than about 100,000 views and about 16,000 likes since it was shared a few hours ago. Additionally, it has drawn a lot of comments as well.

“Well done Ahmedabad police, Please remain like this and keep good squad on Sindhu bhavan road always. There are lots of miscreants specially in night hours who spoil decorum of the city. Well done,” tweeted a user in response to the tweet of Ahmedabad Police.

“Nice Ahmedabad Police there was very quick action,” wrote another. “Well done, Ahmedabad police. Law and order must be maintained under any circumstances so that civilians can live peacefully,” were some of the comments by individuals happy at the punishment of the troublemakers.
