Lulu Group invest Rs 3,000 crore in Ahmedabad to build India’s largest mall

Ahmedabad will soon have its first Lulu mall, as the construction company plans to invest Rs 3000 crore in Gujarat’s largest shopping mall.

Business News

The mall’s construction will begin in early 2023. It will be India’s third Lulu mall, following locations in Lucknow and Kochi.

According to V Nandakumar, Director of Marketing and Communications at Lulu Group, they are in the final stages of acquiring the land needed for the mall, and the foundation stone will be laid next year.

FACILITIES AT LULU MALL

As per the media reports, the new Lulu mall will have 300 national and international brands, 15 multiplexes and a capacity of over 3,000 people inside the food court.

Nandakumar claimed that the mall would also have the country’s biggest children’s amusement centre, along with some other attractions.

The Lulu group has signed an MoU with the Gujarat government at the recently held UAE road show by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Dubai.

LULU MALL IN INDIA

Currently, there are two malls by the UAE-based Lulu group in India. Lulu mall opened in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow in July this year with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore.

In Kochi, the mall opened last year in December, providing job opportunities for more than 10,000 people.

LuLu Group mainly operates in 23 countries located across the Middle East, Asia, the US, and Europe.
