The Indian Railways has made significant changes to the rules in order to improve passenger convenience. This is common knowledge among all passengers on the train. The Railways recently made a change regarding passengers travelling at night.
According to the new railway rules, no passenger in your seat, compartment, or coach may now talk on the phone or listen to music in a loud voice. Railways has issued new guidelines to ensure that passengers’ sleep is not disturbed and that they can sleep peacefully during the journey.
According to media reports, many passengers frequently complain that other passengers in their coach talk loudly on the phone or listen to music until late at night. Some passengers also complained that the railway escort or maintenance staff speaks loudly. Aside from that, many passengers keep their lights on after 10 p.m., which disrupts their sleep. In light of this, the Railways have implemented a new rule. If a passenger does not follow the rules in such a situation, action will be taken against him.
The Railway Board has decided that if you are talking fast on mobile after 10 pm during the journey in the train, then strict action will be taken. According to the new rules, passengers can neither talk loudly nor listen to music during night travel. If any passenger complains, then it will be the responsibility of the staff present in the train to resolve it.
