Ahmedabad received light to moderate showers on Wednesday evening. According to Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) information , Kotarpur received 29mm of rainfall, and Naroda 20mm, Nikol with 11.5mm and Kathwada with 10mm.
Also, scattered rainfall was observed in the city’s eastern outskirts.
The maximum temperature in the city hovered around 30 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that parts of south Gujarat may receive heavy rainfall from Thursday. According to the weather department, other parts of the state may receive light to moderate showers.
