Another shocking incident occurred when an unidentified chopped body of a man was discovered in a dumpyard in Vasna’s Sorainagar neighbourhood.
According to police, the unclothed man’s decapitated and dismembered torso was discovered 650 metres away from the Vasna police station. The deceased man’s age is estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old.
The head and limbs of the unidentified man was chopped off, hence he could not be identified.
Cops from Vasna police station and Ahmedabad crime said that they received a call on Wednesday at around 2:30 pm from a local resident, who noticed a foul smell emanating from the dumpyard, The Times of India reported.
Police reached the spot and an investigation was initiated. As per Deputy commissioner of police, Zone 7, Bhagirathsinh Jadeja the man was murdered and his dismembered body was dumped at Sorainagar three days ago.
Jadeja said that they will first try to identify the body of the victim and forensic experts along with a dog squad will be called for an investigation.
DCP Jadega suspects that the man was murdered and his body was dumped three days ago. The exact cause of death and time of death, however, will be clear once the final autopsy report is received, according to the DCP.
