Thai Vietjet, a Thai registered low-cost airline, will begin nonstop flights between Ahmedabad and Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) on October 1, 2022. The airline has announced special promotion fares starting at Rs 9,882 for flights lasting less than four hours (inclusive of taxes, fees, and surcharges).
“The special deluxe service includes 7 kg carry-on and 20 kg of checked baggage, free seat selection, priority check-in and flexibility with unlimited flight changes at no charge. This promotion is available for booking from July 20-27 July with a travel period from October 1, 2022, – March 25, 2023,” the airline said in a statement.
Thai Vietjet commenced operations in 2016 and currently has a fleet of 16 aircraft (Airbus A320 and A321). It has a double daily flight services on Bangkok-Phnom Penh and a daily between Bangkok and Singapore. The airline will also operate the direct flight from Bangkok to Fukuoka from July 16, 2022.
Fully vaccinated passengers entering Thailand are no longer required to have a Covid-19 test certificate prior to entry or to undergo quarantine upon arrival. Additionally, passengers are not required to apply for a Thailand Pass prior to departure.
