Gujarat recorded a total of 419 new cases in the previous 24 hours on Monday, which represents a slightly lower daily figure than usual for COVID-19 cases. On Sunday, the state reported 456 total cases.
Once more, Ahmedabad contributed most to Gujarat’s daily total of Covid-19 cases. In the past 24 hours, 155 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the city.
Followed by Ahmedabad, Surat was the second-highest district in Gujarat to register as many as 96 fresh cases on Monday. Surat was followed by Vadodara with 40, Mehsana with 19, Gandhinagar and Mehsana with 16 each, Morbi with 12 and Valsad with 11 new cases in the last 24 hours
Gujarat on Monday witnessed a total of 454 people recovered from Covid-19 and one deaths due Covid-19. This took the active cases tally of Covid-19 in state to 3,512 on Monday in the last 24 hours.
According to the Health and Family Welfare Department of Gujarat, the state on Monday administered as many as 43,981 in the last 24 hours with over 18,808 getting their third/precaution dose.
