Ahmedabad recorded 230 new Covid-19 cases in the previous day, bringing the total number of active cases to 1,275. This is the city’s highest recorded infection rate in 132 days.
As per the reports, most of the Covid-19 patients have flu-like symptoms. The doctors have also requested that anyone with such symptoms must consult a doctor and isolate themselves.
Meanwhile, Gujarat recorded 529 positive Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, an official from the state health department said.
With this, the tally of infections in the state has risen to 12,31,483. While 408 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the recoveries to 12,17,623, the death toll remained unchanged at 10,946.
On Wednesday, there were 2,914 active cases in Gujarat. Among the 529 cases were 99 from Surat, 59 from Vadodara, 20 from Valsad, and 13 from Kutch.
