The daytime temperature in Ahmedabad unexpectedly rose to 42.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday, an increase of over 2 degree Celsius over the previous day’s temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, Rajkot registered a maximum temperature of 41.4 degrees Celsius, Deesa recorded 40.8 degrees C, Vadodara recorded 40 degrees Celsius and Bhuj recorded of 36.4 degrees Celsius while Surat registered a maximum temperature of 32.6 degrees
Ahmedabad recorded the highest maximum temperature.
