Ahmedabad on Saturday recorded 40.6 degrees Celsius of maximum temperature
Meanwhile, Rajkot registered a maximum temperature of 40.2 degrees Celsius, Dessa recorded 39.6 degrees C, Bhuj recorded 39.2 degrees Celsius and Vadodara recorded of 38.2 degrees Celsius while Surat registered a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius
43ºC was the highest maximum temperature in the region recorded at Kandla
As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be no significant change in maximum temperatures over the next three days, with a drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius expected over the next two days.
As per the IMD’s forecast, Dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
So far, no heat wave or thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Gujarat.
