Ahmedabad on Wednesday recorded 40.8 degrees Celsius of maximum temperature
Meanwhile, Rajkot registered a maximum temperature of 42.4 degrees Celsius, Dessa recorded 40 degrees C, Bhuj recorded 38.6 degrees Celsius and Vadodara recorded of 38 degrees Celsius while Surat registered a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius
42.4ºC was the highest maximum temperature in the region recorded at Rajkot.
As per the prediction by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), No large change in maximum temperatures during next 4-5 days very likely over the region.
As per the IMD’s forecast, Dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
So far, no heat wave or thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Gujarat.
