Ahmedabad registered a drop in maximum temperature on Thursday recording 41 degrees Celsius.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Rajkot registered a maximum temperature of 38.4 degrees Celsius, Deesa recorded 38.2 degrees C, Vadodara recorded 37.6 degrees Celsius, while Bhuj registered a maximum temperature of 33.6 degrees Celsius, Surat registered a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius.
41ºC was the highest maximum temperature in the region recorded at number of places.
As per the prediction by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather is likely to remain dry with little humidity and no rainfall for the next few days.
As per the IMD’s forecast, Dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
No heat wave warnings issued for Gujarat so far.
