As heatwave continues to intensify in various part of the country and in Gujarat, the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad soared to 41.4 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Rajkot also registered a maximum temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius, Vadodara 39 degrees Celsius and Surat recorded 31.4 degrees Celsius.
The highest maximum temperature in the region was 44 degrees Celsius, recorded at Amreli and Surendranagar.
As per the IMD’s forecast, Dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
No heat wave warnings issued for Gujarat so far.
