The heat continues to grapple in Ahmedabad, with the city recording a maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Vadodara registered a maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius, Rajkot recorded 41.6 degrees Celsius and Surat registered a maximum temperature of 32.6 degrees Celsius.
Dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
Meanwhile, Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for North Gujarat region namely Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Patan and Mehsana; in the districts of Saurashtra- Kutch namely Surendranagar, Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Botad and Kutch for the next two days.
