India will record hike in maximum temperature in coming days in various parts.
On Wednesday many parts of country recorded temperatures above 45°C. In view of this an orange warning for Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha has been issued.
Offlicals have expected to witness western disturbances and chances rain during the first week of May.
According to IMD Heat wave conditions very likely over over Northwest & Central India during next 5 days and over East India during next 3 days and abate thereafter.
Heat Wave conditions in isolated pockets very likely over West Rajasthan during 28th-30th April with Severe Heat Wave conditions on 01st-02nd May;
Heat Wave conditions in some/isolated parts over Vidarbha, West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi & Rajasthan during next 5 days;
• East Uttar Pradesh during 28th April-01st May, Bihar, Jharkhand, interior Odisha, Chhattisgarh & Gangetic West Bengal during 28th-30th April;
• Telangana during 28th April-01st May;
• Gujarat State on 28th April, 2022.
Rainfall/thunderstorm Forecast & Warnings:
Under the influence of strong southwesterly winds from Bay of Bengal to northeastern States at lower tropospheric levels, Tainfall intensity is likely to increase over the region from April 29:
Isolated heavy rainfall very likely over Arunachal Pradesh on April 30 and over Assam-Meghalaya during April 30 to May 2.
