The temperature of Ahmedabad again rose in the city with mercury touching 41.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
The maximum temperature was 1 degrees Celisus higher than normal.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Rajkot also registered a maximum temperature of 40.2 degrees Celsius, Vadodara 40.2 degrees Celsius and Surat recorded 39 degrees Celsius.
Along with the dry weather condition, Gujarat State is very likely to experience a spell of heat wave from April 23 to 27.
