As heatwave continues to intensify in various part of the country and in Gujarat, the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad soared to 40.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
While Ahmedabad records minimum temperature of 28.3 degrees Celsius in a day.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Rajkot also registered a maximum temperature of 39.8 degrees Celsius, Vadodara 37.6 degrees Celsius and Surat recorded 38 degrees Celsius.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra, Weather was dry over Kutch.
As per the IMD’s forecast, Dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
Whereas, on April 22, Light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Kheda, Anand and Bharuch; in the district of Saurashtra namely Bhavnagar.
No heatwave warning for Ahmedabad.
