As heatwave continues to intensify in various part of the country and in Gujarat, the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad soared to 40.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
While Ahmedabad records minimum temperature of 25.3 degrees Celsius in a day.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Rajkot also registered a maximum temperature of 38.8 degrees Celsius, Vadodara 39.2 degrees Celsius and Surat recorded 33 degrees Celsius.
As per the IMD’s forecast, dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
Whereas, on April 20, Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch and Surat.
Heat wave conditions very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in the Kutch district.
No heatwave warning for Ahmedabad.
