As heatwave continues to intensify in various part of the country and in Gujarat, the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad soared to 41.4 degrees celsius on Saturday.
While, the city registered a minimum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius in a day.
As per the IMD’s forecast, for the next few days, the maximum temperature in the city is likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Rajkot also registered a maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius, vadodara 38.6 degrees Celsius and Surat recorded 32.4 degrees Celsius.
As of now no heatwave warning was issued by IMD for Gujarat.
IMD also said that dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli
