As many as 1.73 lakh students from Ahmedabad city and district will appear for Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) Class 10 and 12 exams beginning from Monday.
Around 1.07 lakh of these students are in Class 10 and 65,000 are taking the HSC exams.
“As many as 59,285 Class 10 students will appear for exams in 34 examination centres in the city. As many as 30,493 students appearing for HSC general stream will give exams in 29 centres, while 7,652 science stream students will appear for exams in 10 exam centres,” said Ahmedabad city district education officer Hitendra Padheriya.
